Ann Haigh, the Liberal Democrat's candidate for Barking, attended a meeting where The Children’s Coalition presented its Election Priorities.
The 30 pledges would help transform the lives of children, young people and their parents and carers.
The Priorities include tackling child and family poverty, building an inclusive education system and give young people in care the support they need.
Ann is proud to say she, if elected would fight hard for these priorities.
Ann believes that helping young people into rewarding work is a priority for Barking.
If elected she would seek to promote a partnership between Education and local Employers to come together to help young people develop their skills and increase their confidence to meet the challenges of the world of work
